Collaborative Slides - A Great Way To Share The Work Load!

We are learning to work collaboratively on a shared slide deck. This will mean that everyone in the class will be working on the same slide deck at the same time.

Working collaboratively like this is an important skill (share a sample of everyone’s mahi, more efficient, can work together even when not sitting close to each other or even in the same room eg share ideas and help each other with problems,) and something that we will do often in our Cybersmart sessions.

What can we do when working on this collaborative doc to make sure we are being SMART LEARNERS (using devices in smart and efficient ways, and being respectful to others online)?

  • Only work on your assigned slide (use role to assign slide number)
  • Focus on the task (don’t get distracted by changing backgrounds etc)
  • Get straight to work and complete the task as quickly as possible following the directions given
  • Shark device when complete
